Transperineal Biopsy
Prostate biopsies have developed significantly since the initial finger-guided transperineal aspirate. The current transrectal ultrasound-guided biopsy (TRUS) can suffer poor sensitivity, high false-negative incidence, high risk of infection and other complications*.
For this reason, we are excited to partner with Advance Medical Designs, who offer a more accurate, cost-effective and lower-risk Transperineal Biopsy via their new ‘SureFire’ device.
