Duramesh / Duramesh Lyo used as Dura Mater replacement or reinforcement in neurologic surgeries, offer excellent CFS impermeability. The dense network of collagen fibres provide a high resistance of graft and helps cells regenerate Dura Mater. Thanks to these characteristics the membrane blocks any CSF leakage; an essential requirement for fast and safe Dural healing.

Both products form a biological, re-absorbable Dural substitute consisting of a pericardium membrane designed to provide high ease of use. Duramesh is conserved in liquid while Duramesh Lyo is freeze-dried. The products stand out due to fast application, easy handling & versatile usage in terms of fulfilling the surgeon's needs and preferences while also being a safe & reliable treatment for the patient.

Duramesh:

Membrane conserved in liquid.

Conservation in liquid gives the membrane exellent handling, as it comes pre-hydrated. The conservation liquid needs to be rinsed off in saline as described in the IFU.

Duramesh Lyo:

Freeze-dried membrane.

Duramesh Lyo is ready for use as it doesn't need to be rinsed. It can be rehydrated directly in theatre.

Both dural patch products are biological & therefore totally reabsorbable in around 12 weeks.

The membrane is made of an equine acellularized pericardium, processed to grant resistance, biocompatibility and easy handling.
